Nesting box workshop

Nesting box workshop

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of pupils to our carpentry workshop.

The pupils had the opportunity to gain an insight into our joinery where they were able to familiarize themselves with various woodworking techniques and tools.

We have also donated materials for handicraft lessons as part of this initiative. This enables the teachers to give the pupils practical experience in working with wood and to encourage their creative skills.

The 9th grade’s nesting box campaign was met with consistently positive feedback throughout the village. The municipality of Eging would love to enhance the ecological value of its newly created biodiversity meadow and would therefore like the school to provide nesting boxes for this purpose.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work with schools and pupils and look forward to continuing to support such initiatives in the future. Through such programs, we not only want to pass on our craftsmanship skills, but also raise awareness of the importance of traditional craftsmanship and environmental protection.

THE FAIR FOR SKILLED WORKERS AND TRAINEES IN PASSAU, DEGGENDORF AND FREYUNG-GRAFENAU

The fair took place for the second time in Eging am See. Companies from all sectors – from start-ups to large corporations – presented their professions, apprenticeships and dual study programs.

As co-organizers of HoamatJob, we were delighted to present our own stand. Our stand was a central point of contact for anyone interested in a career in a trade fair construction company.

Our dedicated team attended to the needs and questions of our visitors. Everyone received personalized advice and support to help with their career choices.

With reference pictures and videos of past projects, our stand provided an insight into our work, job and training opportunities and team spirit.

In our technical workshop in cooperation with the “Wissenswerkstatt Passau”, our trainees drilled, screwed and soldered together with the visitors. This allowed them to gain their first experience with various materials and tools.

Our employees were proud to share their experience and expertise and provided insights into metron eging. We hope that our visitors left with a better understanding of the various career opportunities and with new contacts, information and inspiration.

We would like to thank everyone involved for the great collaboration and the impressive result.

It was once again a wonderful experience and an interesting exchange with many visitors – who perhaps turn into future colleagues and trainees.
