Another victory for Tina Fischl at the 15th Herzogstadt Run in Straubing

At the 15th Herzogstadt Run in Straubing, outstanding endurance athlete Tina Fischl once again demonstrated her exceptional form by competing in the challenging 10-kilometer-race.

Conditions for the event, which attracted more than 6,000 runners, were nearly ideal. Pleasant temperatures and only light winds provided excellent racing conditions throughout the weekend.

From the very start, the personal trainer from Fürstenstein took control of the race and established herself at the front of the field. Maintaining a strong pace throughout, Fischl looked determined to claim victory. However, her closest competitors remained in contention, gradually trying to close the gap and put pressure on the leader. As a result, the battle for first place remained highly competitive until the closing stages of the race.

In the end, Fischl once again showcased her mental strength, determination, and racing experience. After a hard-fought contest, she crossed the finish line first, claiming the overall victory in an excellent time of 38:32 minutes. With a margin of just 15 seconds over the runner-up, the result reflected the intensity and competitiveness of the race.

At the finish line, Fischl was delighted with her latest success. She was particularly pleased to have prevailed against a strong field of competitors, many of whom were significantly younger, making the victory all the more remarkable.

Another victory was claimed by Tina at the Airport Night Run in Linz

While most people were already asleep, the starting signal for a very special running event was given at Linz Airport. At exactly midnight from Friday to Saturday, the airport’s runway was closed to air traffic and exclusively reserved for participants of the DHL Airport Night Run. This year, a total of 2,6498 runners took part in the extraordinary five-kilometer race. Among them was personal trainer Tina Fischl, who travelled to the event together with her team from the Wellness Hotel Reischlhof.

For Tina Fischl, the evening turned out to be particularly successful: she won the women’s competition for the third time. What makes this event unique is its extraordinary atmosphere. The race takes place almost entirely in darkness on the airport runway. Many participants wear headlamps to better see the course, but Fischl deliberately chose not to.

These unusual conditions made the race a real challenge. Apart from the lights of airport service vehicles, the course was almost completely dark. Nevertheless, the experienced runner quickly found her rhythm and moved into the lead of the women’s field.

What makes her achievement even more remarkable is that the five-kilometer distance is not normally one of her preferred race formats. The personal trainer from Fürstenstein usually competes over longer distances. This made her success in Linz all the more rewarding. She crossed the finish line in an outstanding 18:32 minutes, beating her closest female competitor by around 15 seconds.

For the team from the Wellness Hotel Reischlhof, the trip to Linz was a complete success. In addition to Tina Fischl’s third victory, the other team members also delivered strong performances and achieved excellent results. After an extraordinary night-time event, the group of around 15 participants made their way home in high spirits.
With the third triumph at the Airport Night Run, Tina Fischl once again demonstrates her versatility and excellent form – all under conditions that challenge even the most experienced runners.

Tina Fischl shines again – Second place at the Women’s Run in Linz

Endurance athlete Tina Fischl from Fürstenstein once again demonstrated her outstanding form last weekend. At the renowned ÖGK Women’s Run in Linz, which was held for the first time in the Danube Park along the banks of the Danube, the Bavarian runner delivered a strong performance in the 10-kilometer race and finished in an excellent second place.

With midsummer temperatures placing heavy demands on the more than 1,000 participants, the race proved to be a true test of endurance. Despite the heat, spectators enjoyed an exciting competition along the scenic Danube route. Large crowds lined the course, creating a fantastic atmosphere and enthusiastically cheering on the runners. The finish area, in particular, offered a festival-like setting that provided additional motivation for the athletes.

Taking a measured approach from the start due to the challenging conditions, Fischl positioned herself among the leading runners in a highly competitive field. The experienced athlete once again demonstrated her versatility and remarkable endurance. Crossing the finish line in 40:04 minutes, she secured a well-earned second place, with only Austria’s Bernadette Schuster finishing ahead of her. With this performance, Fischl once again confirmed her excellent form and underlined her ambitions for the remainder of the season.

The Women’s Run celebrated a successful debut in Linz’s Danube Park and set a new participation record with more than 1,000 starters. While the event focused on promoting fitness, movement, and community spirit, it also provided the perfect stage for another impressive performance by Tina Fischl. Once again, the exceptional athlete from Fürstenstein demonstrated that she belongs among the top athletes in both the regional and national running community.
