Strong performance by Tina Fischl at the half marathon in Ingolstadt

Tina Fischl takes an impressive second place

Summery temperatures of 20 degrees, bright sunshine, and a city in a state of excitement – the Ingolstadt half marathon showed itself from its best side at the weekend. Around 6,000 runners and thousands of spectators along the route provided plenty of goose bump moments.

Right in the middle of the action: Tina Fischl from WSV Otterskirchen. She set the pace in the women’s field right from the start, leading the race until kilometer 10, when she was finally defeated by local hero Cornelia Griesche.

After 1:24:14 hours, Fischl crossed the finish line in second place, securing not only a podium spot but also a commanding victory in her age group. Ramona Förtsch came in third in 1:27:18 hours.
