Tina Fischl wins the first Grafenauer BÄRglauf run

Tina Fischl unbeatable at home race in Grafenau

The Grafenau advertising association organized the first BÄRglauf (bear run) in the city center of Grafenau.

It is called BÄRglauf because it takes place in Grafenau, where the bear is present everywhere as the heraldic animal. In addition, half of the circuit through the town square was uphill.

In fact, the organizers came up with a very special format: an elimination race in which the runners were sorted out after each of the 1.03 km laps with only 80% of the field qualifying for the start of the next lap.

As a native of Grafenau, Tina Fischl did not want to miss out on this event and took on the challenge.

Right from the start, tactics were needes. It was crucial to always run among the fastest 80% of the field. Tina Fischl held back very strongly in the first five laps in order to save energy for the final lap. The tactic worked; everything was going well.

In the Finals, the fastest athletes were called out by name to go to the starting line of the final round. It was very exciting for both the runners and for the many spectators in the town square of Grafenau.

The starting signal was fired, and the race began immediately. Tina positioned herself at the front of the field and the pace was incredibly fast. At the top of the mountain, Fischl increased the pace again, overtook the previous front-runner and continued to push. A small gap opened up and Tina Fischl was able to win her home race overjoyed with a 4-second lead.

Reischlhof SUN RUN in Wegscheid

Tina Fischl wins the 6.3 km race with confidence

More than 2,000 runners from near and far have registered for the Sun Run in Wegscheid, which covers various distances.

On this day, Tina decided to start the 6.3 km long course for her team Reischlhof.

The many runners were sent on their way to the very demanding route at 3:00 pm on the dot. Tina started the race very fast but in a controlled manner as the elevation profile of the circuit should not be underestimated.

After the first long ascent, it was already clear to Tina that her pursuers would not be able to keep up the high pace.

Fully focused, Tina continued to push and thus extended her lead over the runner-up.

Cheered on by the hundreds of spectators along the road, Tina finally crossed the finish line overjoyed with an excellent time of 26:56 minutes and was completely surprised that only a male athlete was faster than her that day.

BMW half marathon Dingolfing 2024

Tina defends her victory from 2023 at the BMW half marathon in Dingolfing

Tina made a spontaneous decision to run the Dingolfing half marathon despite the bad weather.

More than 1,200 runners turned out for this perfectly organized event.

The starting signal was given at 1:30 pm on the dot. It was still dry at this point, but it started raining shortly afterwards.

Tina didn’t want to leave anything to chance and ran at a high pace from the start. After just a few kilometers, a gap opened between her and her pursuers and Tina pulled ahead.

Once again, it was a race against the clock, one’s weaker self and the inclement weather.

Though the atmosphere on the approximately 5-kilometer circuit trough the center of Dingolfing was good which helped to motivate the runners.

Overjoyed, Tina has done everything right again and successfully defended her title from the previous year with an excellent time of 1:22 hours.

‚Kärnten läuft‘ 2024

Tina Fischl fastest German athlete in the elite field

With fantastic running weather, the organizers were once again able to welcome around 7,000 participants to this year’s edition of ‘Kärnten läuft’ (Carinthia runs) at the various events on beautiful lake Wörthersee.

The highlight of the sports weekend was the half marathon from Velden to Klagenfurt, which featured top athletes from all over the world.

The race started at 9.00 am directly in front of the magnificent castle hotel in Velden at lake Wörthersee.

From the start a very fast pace was set at the front of the field.

In the last few kilometers, which became increasingly tough, Tina Fischl was determined to keep her place and kept the pace high.

Due to the very hot temperatures, however, this was not exactly easy for her.

The finish, at the Metnitzstrand in Klagenfurt, was getting closer and closer. Thousands of spectators cheered loudly along the route.

Only in the last few meters before the finish line did Tina realize that she would finish this incredibly great race as the best German athlete behind the eight fast women from Kenya and the two women from Austria.

After a short rest at the finish line, the runners were overjoyed and jumped into the refreshing waters of lake Wörthersee, following the organizer’s motto ‘Pack your swimsuit and running shoes’.

39th ‚Gäubodenvolkfest‘-run Straubing 2024

Sovereign victory for Tina Fischl on Assumption Day in Straubing

On Assumption Day, endurance specialist Tina Fischl from Fürstenstein made her way to Straubing early in the morning to take part in the 5 km race. The challenge on the predominantly flat, asphalted circuit was not to overdo it on the first few kilometers in the very hot temperatures of more than 30°C.

The experience endurance athlete from WSV Otterskirchen has been in the business long enough and therefore knew exactly how to tackle such a “heat race”.

The starting signal was given shortly after 9.00 am at the FTSV Straubing training grounds, and the runners headed out onto the tartan track and onto a cycle path towards the city center. Fischl set a fast pace right from the start and took the lead in the women’s field. Only two male athletes were ahead of the runner from Fürstenstein at this point. At the turning point after 2.5 km, Fischl realized that the gap to the competition was already quite comfortable. Fischl completed the rest of the course at a very brisk but steady pace, as none of the female runners were able to follow up on her. With a time of 18:40 minutes and a lead of 3 minutes, Tina Fischl finally crossed the finish line at the FTSV Straubing sports grounds overjoyed as first-placed woman to much applause from the spectators.
