BMW Dingolfing Half Marathon 2025

Tina Fischl defies the heat and wins again at the BMW Dingolfing half marathon

The asphalt shimmered, and the sun showed no mercy: this year’s 21st BMW Dingolfing half marathon demanded everything from the 1,500 participants. While many struggled against the temperatures, one athlete once again delivered an impressive performance: Tina Fischl from WSV Otterskirchen.

The top runner from Fürstenstein was neither deterred by the new route along the picturesque Isar river nor by the thermometer, which climbed mercilessly to around 28°C on Sunday afternoon. Shortly after the starting signal, Fischl made it clear that the road to victory would once again lead through her this year.

In her usual determined manner, she pulled away from the field early on and set a pace that was astonishingly fast given the conditions. But what initially seemed like a commanding performance became more of a mental challenge with every additional kilometre – and a race against an unexpected adversary: the heat.

But Tina persevered. With an outstanding time, she secured victory once again this year at the traditional race in Dingolfing. Yet another proof of her exceptional status in Bavarian long-distance running.

Despite the extreme conditions, participants were enthusiastic about the new route. The Isar River provided scenic attractions, while the perfect organization from start to finish once again set new standards.

Conclusion: Tina Fischl remains the woman to beat – and the BMW Dingolfing half marathon remains an event that runners from all over Bavaria can look forward to every year.
